Nice same problem will order parts and fix it just cant test it til after winter cuz car is stored. Thanks a lot!!!!!

Have the same 2 clicks but no opening trunk, have to use the key, will order these tomorrow, seems like a very cheap fix.

Wow, I have this same problem as well. to m3forum! Two clicks and it's still latched. I usually hit unlock again so that the trunk button is activated, and then use that and the trunk opens. I also have problems shutting the trunk, and I have to give it a firm slam to get it to close sometimes.

The prev owner was aware of this, and the dealership actually replaced the latch under warranty in Dec 07, but it obviously didn't fix it!

Does anyone else have any preferred site to order from other than circlebmw?

I ended up ordering from bavauto.com. $6.92 each, and $5.95 shipping. Cheap enough, and I don't have to wait for a confirmation

i've had the same problem. Luckily(?) someone rear-ended me recently. I'm having everything fixed on Monday.
