Default Vorsteiner CSL DVWP Trunk DIY

Started it today, the bootlid has been sitting in its box for about 2 months or so. ill keep you guys updated on my progress.

tool kit


disconnecting the toolkit support


disconnected


trunk release pull disconnect


remove phillips head screws holding toolkit onto trunk

there are 10 "push bolt thingys" to remove before the liner will come off (not including 2 screws for toolkit)

I would recommend test fitting everything first before the trunk is painted. that way no headaches down the road

liner looks like it fits pretty good. only problem is there is 4 holes missing. two of which need threads

good job! im getting ready to install mine in a couple of weeks. im kinda worried about the wiring so if you can please go into a little detail, that'd be awesome! thanks!

actually it would be helpful if someone could chime in about the wiring. does it need to be spliced ?

I could be wrong, someone with more CSL knowledge then myself can correct, but the CSL doesn't have the toolkit and therefore as a replica of the OEM boot, it does not have the proper holes for the kit? :nixweiss:

Great DIY by the way. I'll be using this in the near future!
