Omg that part of VIR... glad you’re OK dude! I️ was actually behind a guy in an E36 M3 (so, much slower) who had a similar failure and went straight off T14; from CLT as well. Srsly time for a beer or car visit - love the 944 and am pending a WUM3F myself

I'm admittedly spoiled by the F1 transmission and in your face fixed position large paddles which are nothing short of glorious. the tiny dct ones blow and I don't like behind wheel and not affixed. that's just a snooty minor gripe. The real reason I want to get rid of it isn't because I don't like the car - I adore it. It's bc my needs are not for something that does everything well. I walk to work and every time I get in the car - it's for a joy ride. There's the occasional trip to see a chick or friends in neighboring cities but I don't drive Monday-Thursday bc of work proximity to home. Comes down to not needing such a perfect car - would rather sacrifice comfortability for a old 944 or precision car. If that makes sense?
I get it, I think a certain recent IG post may have something to do with it too.
