Took about 2 hours to install, but we took our time. One of the diagrams was just a tad confusing as far as orientation, so we followed the actual pictures mostly. Car is running fine and will be tested on the track next weekend.
This is correct. We only have the one option now that has two pumps. I just installed this setup in my team's WRL enduro car a couple of months ago. Took me a couple hours, also, but I was taking my time. Snaking the new hose under the rear seat sheet metal is a bit annoying, but that was just an exercise in patience.

My team used to get only under an hour before needing to refuel due to starvation. We can now run considerably longer, and right up to the point where we can put in a full 15-16 gallons when needed.

I just got an e-mail from BW stating only one pump in the kit and that an additional pump can be added per request. So pricing should be same BW vs VAC

I've ziptied an ebay fuel pump to the and of the suction pump and routed another hose into the main pump reservoir from it. Worked fine and no fuel level sender issues, since the original assembly was retained.

Ok, the E36 kit has two new pumps which is what this thread was about initially.

Realizing now you have E46, so maybe that kit is different?

Yea sorry for the confusion. I looked into this thread regardless of application (e36 or e46) and was looking for differences/advantages (if any) one kit vs the other. But yes, the e46 kit just comes with one pump.

Happy to report the Bimmerworld E36 fuel starvation kit worked like a charm this past weekend at East track which is heavy right handed / clockwise. Ran the tank to the fuel light twice with no starve.

Any issues with fuel gauge being inaccurate?
