Default Buying a cat d registered car

Hi folks,

I have found an E46 M3 which is a cat d registered car, it is as i would see in
individual car as it is in oxford green, it is a 2004 53 reg, csl replica wheels, the car looks gorgeous it also has 98k on the clock, it is selling for 10k is this a good buy?

Any help on this would be great
