POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE

Description:
The issue involves the positive battery cable connection to the fuse box which, over time, could become damaged and lead to a no-start condition, or momentary flickering of the instrument cluster.

In an extreme case, engine stalling and loss of electrical systems could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy:
The positive battery cable connector will be replaced with an improved version, and the cable will be secured to the fuse box.

Done. Stealership did it. A week later I couldn't open my trunk from either FOB or button inside car. Brought it back, they didn't fully seat the connector.

yeah got it and dealership took a day to replace it. They gave me a 2019 X3 to drive around which my wife seemed to love... great now we gotta get one of those too...

OP, it would beuseful if you and all that did say they received such a recall notice identified your respective cars by year of production.
