I despise the Stoptech street pads-- endless pad deposits.

The OE Porsche pads are interesting, though-- will look into that (assuming they fit and aren't crazy stupid expensive).

Holy crap, it seems you're right.
I cross referenced PFC 08 for the 968 w/ M030 package. The front pads are the same part number for the ST40 caliper (0447.08.17.44).

It also fits 928, 944, and a couple 911.

You can get OE Porsche pads from FCP Euro which IIRC are reasonable.

Textar and Pagid might also be good alternatives.

My only complaint with my ST40s is, PFC 08s are now way more expensive.
