Default Loud dragging noise and heavy clutch vibration?

Hey guys hopefully someone will have some insight on this. I have a 2003 E46 M3 vert with 26,xxx on it. I am the second owner. Bought it with 19,xxx on it. For about a month now the car occasionaly makes a loud noise when coming to a stop. The best I can describe the sound is it sounds like I am dragging a piece of thin aluminum under the car. Ive looked underneath numerous times and nothing there. I put it on a lift to see if exhaust or any kinds of shields were loose but all seems ok. Then today out of nowhere my clutch pedal has a constant heavy vibration while car is in gear. Slightly less when in neutral but vibration is still present. Not sure if the two problems are related or not. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine did the same thing and turns out a bolt fell out of the differential. Cost $200 to put the bolt back in and no more scraping sounds.
