Default BMW Performance Brakes on E46 M3

Saw this on Mtorque ... thought some of you guys might be interested.

Uses the BMW Performance 6 pot monoblock Brembos and CSL/ZCP disc and custom mounting brackets.

And according to the owner of the vehicle pictured below - no spacers required with the OEM 19s.

You can purchase the conversion kit from these guys below:

no info on the website yet ...

From the overwhelming amount of interest for the E46 M3 and M3 CSL, we have now also finished the development work and can now offer you the BMW Performance Front Big Brake Kit with the yellow Brembo Callipers for 960 all in.

The E46 M3 Kit includes:

x2 BMW Performance Yellow 6 pot Brembo Callipers with Brembo Pads.
x2 BMW M3 CSL 345mm x 28mm Floating Discs.
x2 Goodridge Braided Hoses (Rear's can also be supplied at a slight extra cost).
x2 Custom made Aluminium Brake Calliper Mounting Brackets.

We will have these kits ready to ship by Monday 2nd February, once we have fulfilled our current pre-orders that we took at the AutoSport show at the specially discounted price.

E46 M3 CSL owners can also benefit from this kit, the same as above, but minus the M3 CSL brake discs for just 760 all in.

The E46 330i/330d kit will be made available later this month...

To place an order, please contact us on 01925 850796.

That is a good price comes out to around 1600 USD. BMW actually offers a competition 6 pot kit for the M3 with CSL rotors for 2400 USD, the same yellow color.

They don't actually ... the kit's only for E9X models and other E46s but not the M3 or CSL ...

Hence the reason I posted this - as it was always assumed that if it can fit the E9X and some E46s .. there would be a way to adopt it for the E46 M3s & CSL

Here you go check this part number on real oem.com, Competition Package M3 Brake system.
SPORTS BRAKE RETROFIT KIT COMPETITION 1 09/2002 34000429573
And its no specified as to strictly for the CSL models, per the ETK it is suppose to fit USA cars too.
Take care.

Sorry mate you need to get your facts straight before you start posting - you are completely wrong.

Check out the picture of the actual kit mate ... it's not the 6 pot brembo kit ... it's just the CSL upgrade for the normal M3 (cross reference individual part numbers if you don't believe me)

The 6 pot brembo upgrade has part number: 34110444769 - which is not suppose to fit the E46 series .. and it doesn't without a custom bracket.

This has been discussed before.

I always wondered what the two 'blocks' were at each end of the caliper? I noticed the standard 135i calipers don't have them.
