Do not drive with different rolling diameters on the two rear tires. You will damage/break the diff.

Me? Of course not. I've got a front and a rear. The other 18 front was damaged, the other 18 rear is even worse than the 18 rear I've got on there now. The current one is smooth all the way (think -worn out- racing tire) and the other rear has cords flopping out of it.

Basically it was a set I took off and chucked to the side and said "well I've got a tire if I need to make it roll" lol I knew it would never work for any sort of distance other than to basically get it out of whatever parking lot or side of the road it was left on.
Are they the same diameter tire at least? If so that would probably work fine in a pinch

If you already pay for roadside and you won't need to pay out of pocket, why not save the miles and flatbed the M?

Thanks for the info, everyone. You actually taught me a lot.

Thankfully I was able to get a family member to bring a car home in time for me to go get the tire mounted on the wheel.

For the record, buy your road hazard on your nice tires. I'm a ding dong who said "the rears don't last long enough for me to worry about it" because I used to go through a set of rears in about 6-8 months max with how much driving I was doing..... then I parked the car the next month and just had to pay almost the price of a new tire for the replacement, mounting and balancing with nothing but $77 off for warranty prorating (the tires only had 5k miles!!!!)

All because I said I didn't need it and didn't pay the dang $35 a tire. SMH Lesson learned.
