Default Custom Tuning socal

Any shops in socal that do this. Everyone lately has been posting their gains from custom tuning. Curious if there are any local shops that have the ability.

How much HP/TQ are you looking to gain?

Not that I've seen around SoCal no... I've seen lots of tuning shops for Evo's and Subi's but not much for BMW that I can remember at least.

Do you have a specific tune in mind?

Otherwise, we have ESS E-Flash cables and dynojet on-site in Anaheim.

Hey guys thanks for replying. I was just gazing at the custom dyno tuning that members have been posting with headers added. I was hoping to find someone in socal to tune my car to maximize timing, AFR's and any other "way over my head" parameters.

I was hoping to dodge the off the shelf tune, and make my dollar stretch a little further. I presume I will be going with EPIC software and potentially Bimmerworld street/track exhaust. I will be getting all the dyno-sessions done at EAS since no one seems to have a better option at this point in regards to my needs.

I want! I'm in the SS group buy now. Gonna need a tune soon. Do I need to buy an evolve and then tweak it? Or can I just get a custom tune and get the gains??

There are pretty much 0 tuners in socal or they are all in hiding. Just go with a tuner from this forum and dyno stock, with headers and then after tune. Any company should be able to tweak your tune to your car if given the dyno information.

Evolve can do custom tuning remotely, just book some time with a local dyno. I am thinking about going this route. Getting a baseline at EAS tomorrow.

Castro Motorsport in North Hollywood bought Miller Performance's Mustang Dyno last year. They've begun working with various local tuners including Dan Miller himself.

Dan will be in town in 2 weeks cleaning up the tune on my S54 E30 M3. If anyone is interested in having Dan Miller from Miller Performance dyno tune their car, PM me.
