Do you have ANY other plans for the car other than this?
Nick, let the gut spend his money the way he wants to. Not everyone wants to run w2w. At least he got some fenders and a roof with his car.

Yeah, I hear ya. Just seems like A LOT of money for that purpose. Let alone the need for a full roll cage, etc. But I hear ya!

Once again thanks for the compliments fella's. I know now why RWD is so much more fun that FWD.

To the gentleman who asked why I would spend so much on an HPDE car:

> less likelihood of getting into wreck from something other than my own mistake on track. there are rules associated with the group i run with (very strict).

> no pressure to perform to any standards nor have any sponsors, etc to keep abreast of your performance and/or schedule.

> more of a relaxed atmosphere in my personal opinion

> i have several buddies who bring out their Lamborghini's, F430 Challenge cars just to do track events. For most people this usually leads into some form of racing and eventually it will happen for me just not at this point in my life. I am happy with HPDE's and a couple of time attacks per year.

I hope this clears things up for you.

Very nice job! Your car sounds great, what intake and exhaust do you have?

Right now the diagonal brace (non-continuous) in the main hoop and the rear braces (not attached to a plate) would have a pretty good chance of keeping the car from being allowed to race.
i agree with your first paragraph, but dude...give it a rest! you've picked on this one point in every cage you've 'critiqued.' mine passed, and like stated on bf.c, CCA doesn't mandate a continuous diagonal. otherwise mine wouldn't have passed 3 yrs in a row.
