Bavarian Autohaus told me that cracked subfames on the E46 was internet myth. So yeah, don't go there.

Jackie Cooper did an alignment for me and the ticket literal read "Vehicle still has a pull to the right but other than that the steering wheel is level". For my standards a shop that thinks a straight steering wheel is the end-all be-all of an alignment never gets another nickel from me. And they are not independent as you specified.

Clearly, I can tell you where NOT to go. I'm short on suggestions.

I've had a couple of conversations with the guys at Edmond Autowerks and there are signs of intelligent life there, but I've never had them do any actual work. Their prices are above market too.

Similar story with Metric Motors, no first hand experience. I have heard really good things from friends. For my money, I'd call Metric and see if they'd do it or make a recommendation closer to town.

knowing where NOT to go is just as valuable as knowing where to go. thanks for the insight.

right now, it seems that edmond motorwerks and penn automotive are at the top of the list.
