Default m3 smg problem

hello to all, Im new to the forum, long story short I bough my first m3 2004 from a auction company the car had water damage. As the car was inspected no apparently mayor damage was cause by water the thing is after checking everything I install a new battery and try to start the car and nothing,I ended up disconnecting the slave cylinder and the car got back to life engine sounds great no check engine light nothing and the funny thing is if a switch the car into to gear it drives even with the slave cylinder electrical part disconnected I went out for a little drive and the car drives not in the best way but it docent fill like my clutch is bad. so after that test i decided to connect the slave cylinder again ad car won't start again A get a single code 3B thats it, before I start buying parts maybe some one can give me a hint on my problem

Regards

Do you or someone you know have a BMW specific code reader? It is best if you have that or else it gets confusing trying to translate what actually is wrong. Get that before you can go to next step...

Inside the clutch slave cylinder is a PLCD sensor. You can replace this with the slave cylinder still attached. It is mounted with 2 screws.

Slave cylinder has a clutch position sensor built in into it.

I had this same issue when I first got my car too. As stated above, replacing the sensor fixed it. For me that is...
