Default Official thread: Post your Audio/I.C.E Setups

Lets see them. I searched but didn't see a thread like this and thought it may be appropriate.

Yeah, your system is sick! Much better than Malnodnarbs in the subtlety department. (something tells me the McIntosh sounds ok too.) Nicely done

I'll be running the following:

Clarion VRX925VD
Boston Acoustics Z6's (2 pair)
JL Audio 10w6v2's x 2
JL Audio 500/1 (sub)
JL Audio 300/4 (components)
Audio Control EQS
Clarion 6 disc DVD/CD changer
Sirius
1 Farad Cap, all Stinger/RF directional RCA's, fuse blocks, etc.

Considering a 5.1 processor and hiding a center channel speaker somewhere (if I can fit one).

It will be very stealth, I'm not into bling at all.

Pics later when it's done (still waiting on car, all the stuff is sitting in my other room after pulling it from my 350Z).

Default In Process.

I am in the process of installing the following in my 2005 comp package M3:

McIntosh MX5000 cd player
iPod 60G video iPod

DEQX EQ/crossover/preamp

2 custom Genesis ICE amplifiers 29.5 inches long each with the following power:

2 x 50 class A for the tweeters
2 x 150 for the midbass
2 x 600 for the subs

Genesis Audiophile 2 way front stage speakers

(2) JL Audio 8w7 subs

Singer Battery

BatCap caps

MIT interconnect and speakerwire

Dynamat sound deadening

The car will be involved in sound quality competition nationally and is sponsored by JL Audio, Genesis ICE, Dynamat, BatCap and MIT cables. Associated companies helping with the project are Magnaflow, Stinger, and some others to be mentioned later.

I will be posting pics on this site upon completion.
