These are my OZ wheels, they're Anthracite, not black, so they've got a nice sparkle to them. I've typically been against dark wheels, but I took a chance when I bought these and I absolutely love them. Had em for a two and a half years and they haven't grown old on me yet. I really like the contrast with the silver car, and the fact that they complement the black roof and the rub strip all around the car, so I'm not sure what it would look like on an Estoril coupe.

Guys, thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

I agree it should not be pure black but rather gunmetal color or satin black.

As for Rays TE37SL, if I use the 18" 8.5J ET35 all around, how would that look?

Might possibly go with APEX ARC-8 since there are many examples that works with E36.

Here's the car I was referring to. Really cool E36 M3 Sedan with black BBS RC 300/301 wheels. This would be my model car...haha

Beautiful car, but tiny tires and shitty replica wing don't do much for it.
Heres the te37 that fit our cars. Pretty bleh.

Here's a set on Jeff's car with e46 fenders grafted on. Totally different world.

I have a set of black enkei rpf1's (18x8.5 I think et35) that I am planning to use on my estoril. I will try to put them on for a pic this weekend or next, whenever I get to finishing my coilover conversion install. I had them on my previous black sedan and liked them a lot. I personally like black wheels with most e36 colors. I think the purples would be the exception, but hellrot, silver, cosmos, and estoril I definitely like, and boston green is a maybe. I think the green would fall in with the purple. So as I wrote that, I noticed the pattern that I like the black on black or black with a light enough color that they contrast well.

Those fenders look awesome. I think I remember seeing a thread about that car. Do you know where it is? I am curious about the cost and process in a "maybe I could do that to mine one of these years" kind of way.

Two of my friends have those TE37 Saga installed but they really aren't as impressive as the SL. My preference would be trying to fit the 8.5J TE37SL all around but with spacer in the rear. Not sure if that would work to get the similar look.

Jeff's car is definitely the best model but the only question is whether or not to roll the fender the way Jeff did to his Estoril Blue.

If you want to run concave te37s thats what it will take, or tiny tires like the estoril sedan you linked to.
