I just tried to watch the race on youtube and couldn't stomach more than a minute of it. The constant quick half second camera cuts and over blown reactions/manufactured drama are such a turn off.

That's alright, at the end of the day we all know what street car is actually going to win back to back REAL races.

Agreed. Aron and the farm truck guys are true sports and were much better to watch. I was very disappointed by Aron's driving though on the autocross and the drag strip...way too leadfooted.

I remember back in the day when the Discovery Chanel used to be full of great documentaries, and not stupid reality TV.

Says a lot when I can't even stomach to watch shows about freaken CARS!

At least we have car shows today. Back in the day.... you had motor week, and dukes of hazard.

Someone on this forum turned me onto mighty car mods.... while the platforms are not my focus...... the content is a guilty pleasure for me.... particularly liked the miata s/c vs turbo comparo.... on the dyno and on the track. Something i've often thought about.

After meeting the vorshlag guys, I would really like to see a documentary on one of their builds. cool, beautiful one-off fab work....

Haha....this is so true and it's amazing how quickly we become ungrateful. Unfortunately mainstream automotive content is still extremely vapid, but the internet is a life saver.

All better than a tug of war challenge passed off as a car competition. What a waste.

But tug of war's got what car guys crave. It's got tire smoke.

FIRE! SMOKE! GRINDER SPARKS! IT'S WHAT VIEWERS CRAAAAAAAVE!!!

That's why most car shows today suck. Sometimes it's nice to enjoy a brainless show at the end of a busy day/week though.
