Default quick exhaust video after car is put back together

Hello all,

So It's been 4 weeks since I put my car back together after a rod bearing failure and I wanted to post a video of how the car sounds now. New addition's are Bimmerworld Lightweight flywheel and clutch combo along with a modified x-pipe. I also have Bimmerworlds ceramic headers, Epic motorsports tune, and Agency power rear section on the car as well. I thought the car revved fast with the stock flywheel but jesus, A quick stab will get you 3 to 4k rpm's lol.

Damn. Aggressive and unique setup. Post some more vids with drive-by's, etc. Also, watched a couple times...can't help but ask wtf the audio is of as you're walking toward camera

Thank you sir, I cant wait to make a vid of the car under load.

As far as how it was modified was I Literally just cut the pipe after the flanges and welded a y pipe on and then a 3 inch single pipe bent to mimic the stock pipes path back to the rear flanges, where I welded another y pipe to go back to duals before the muffler.

>-------< ( big x-pipe) lol

Wow great work!! One of the best sounding S54 exhausts i've ever heard, i lol'd so hard at the noise in the vid though is it just straight three inch pipe? Any resonators? Can't wait to hear it under load

LOL that sound is so stupid, but for some reason its funny even to me when i watch it. No resonator in the modified pipe but I'm still running the stock section2 with the factory resonator in the one pipe since that section doesn't add power when changed unless going to a single setup. I do still get rasp at around 3.5k rpm's and goes away at 4k when driving normal but the rasp is deep unlike other setups were the rasp is so pronounce. Also the car gets a hollow higher tone sound inside the cabin from 4k and up which I am interested to take the car above 5k after I change the oil. (this again is because i am almost through with my break in period for the clutch and bottom end )

Wow that sounds good. What kind of rod bearings did you go with?
