Hey guys I bought this real OE bumper from the junkyard and it will not fit me BMW M3! The guy said it will fit an 01-06 BMW M3 Bumper. The inside of the bumper has a foaming with suction like things! It wont connect to my bumper!
The body shop is also confused and told me I bought the wrong bumper.

No thats an 2003 - 2006 e46 m3 bumper (which uses kevlar front carrier, the foam has suction cups to attach to the kevlar).

2001 - 2002 e46 m3 bumpers comes with a steel carrier and uses bumper shocks.

Is there any way that this will fit my car? I have the steel carrier I believe.

How can I make this fit into the steel carrier?

You need to change the carrier on your car to the kevlar version.

by any chance can I buy the inner mounting bracket for the bumper and switch it out to make it fit my current carrier system.
Does anybody know the part or where to find it.

This is so frustrating when you buy the wrong part for your car and unable to return it. This thing has been dragging on for months its driving me crazy.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but if you go on realoem, put in the build date for your car, then again for a car built after '03 you will see what you need.
