Default What to do with old e46 M3 clutch?

Hello everyone,

I recently had my clutch replaced during some engine work. I obviously don't have a need for it anymore. The clutch has 105K miles on it. It still operated great, about 30% life left, before the swap. What should I do with it? Any ideas of anyone/anyplace that could use it or benefit from it? If not, where would you recycle it?

Offer it up in the for sale forum for $75 shipped, or $50 plus actual and help out some poor college kid who should have bought a beater!

The labor you pay for reinstalling a second new clutch the second time around after yours goes south, you could have bought two brand new clutches to begin with. A clutch with over 100k miles on it won't have much life left. OP, sell it for scrap or just throw it away.

Yes, I realize that. Point is, from time to time you see folks beg for used rotors and clutch parts because they have no money.

See if any of the racers want it as an emergency spare. I always carried around a used clutch in case I grenaded mine (or someone else did). You'd be surprised how fast a transmission comes out of a race car when several racers are trying to help you get ready for the next run session.

You can always clean it up and put it on the wall as a decoration, or just throw it out...
