Post E46 M3 Clutch Life at Replacement

It was brought to my attention that I need an additional poll to include the unfortunate ones that have already had to replace their clutch in their E46 M3. This will provide a more complete view of the information. Thank you for sharing your information with the community!

If you are still riding on your original clutch please use this poll.

almost 200,000km here original clutch no signs of requiring replacement anytime soon.

No SMG issues ever either, 2006 model.

Also while we're on the topic, if some people wouldn't mind posting how much it cost to replace, that would be interesting.

Replaced mine at 110,000 miles. Still had about 35% life left. Had to drop trans to do clutch pivot pin, replaced everything while in there.

Had to replace mine at about 105k because it was causing my COG light to go off and as a result the car wouldn't start...

Change the thread title to "E46 M3 Clutch Life at Replacement" to avoid confusion with the other thread.

But what I see daily are typical German car colors; blacks, silvers, grays and whites. They look nice, I agree, but to me the appeal is what the M cars were in the 1980s an event. Its not so much that I want to be noticed, but more that I want to stand apart from the crowd. And to me, Phoenix Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue are two of the best ways to differentiate your M3 experience from the norm.
