New to the party here. I am not finding much on people with SMG cars changing flywheels, I was looking at possibly going with the AA flywheel to save weight as well as drop rotational mass. Sounds like that is a bad idea or ?
Side note I will be installed the ESS CSL SMG software as well.

I am pretty sure some have done it but... Also with M3 dual mass usually it is not needed to do the LFW on the M3. More fore gear heads that are really into modding. I have had no issues with it and it works perfect.

I am trying to lighten the car so that if you run a 12.5 LB flywheel that drops some good weight as well. Isn't the UUC one to light for the SMG. I am have been reading so much on this topic I think my eyes are crossed now HAHA.

I am only at 430hp with the Dinan non-aftercooled kit. Should I look into the HPF clutch when it's time to replace? Or is the OEM unit fine for my output?
Anybody consider the Rogue kit?

My M3 had 420+ RWHP and I never had any issues with the OEM setup.

Great to know. Thanks! Will probably stay with OEM if the disk and PP can handle the power just fine. Not sure about going with a lighter flywheel either, chatter is not worth the gains and the revs falling too fast may be undesirable with FI.

Shadowless, The UUC set up has been running strong, I have been working on my engine, it is now being built (forged), as I removed the clutch and flywheel I noticed some hot spots, due to the takeoffs and hot runs. At first when I felt chadder, I learned that if you re-learn the SMG to the clutch while the tranny is warm, you will not have that issue anymore. Learned from experience. I will purchase the same clutch, change the flywheel plate and rebuilt.
