Default Fortune Auto rear height adjustment

I'm installing the broadway static editions and don't understand how to set the rear height. The front is straight forward with a quarter inch of preload and then shortening the shock body.

How do you know how long to make the shock body since its adjustable in the rear?
I've searched found one thread and its still not making sense to me. Any help is much appreciated.

I have BWS 500s. The method I used is as follows.

- Install the rear spring
- Install the upper shock mount
- With the rear suspension at full drop us a jack to raise the trailing arm up so the spring is seated and just slightly compressed.
- Adjust the shock to match the lower shock mount as close as possible and install.

Recommend using a set of Rogue Engineering Rear Spring Perch Reinforcements.

Ok and then put the car on the ground measure how much I want to lower the car and then adjust the spring perch?
Do I need to adjust the shock at all to compensate as well?

I was under the impression you had it set already. Ya I would set the ride height then adjust the shock length as mentioned above and install.

I set the height on the adjustor outside of the car. Shock is unbolted. Then twist it in. From there use a jack to raise the hub until the spring is snug. Then adjust shock to reach the hub. Pretty simple after you do it once or twice.

I had to remove one the locking rings to acheive my desired height. 12.25" from middle of center cap to fender. With 5" swift springs. Thanks for the help

Noob question but what's the rear spring id for our cars? I found conflicting information while searching. Also anyone know of a good place to order coilover springs?

I have no idea of id. But why would you need to order coilover springs?
