Default Correct Body Terminology

Well. Seems alot of people are intent on calling body panals and peices on cars by their incorrect names. This can lead to confusion. Therefore, I whiped up this picture to help clear up any confusion anyone may have.

Not to mention it bugs me to no end when someone is trying to explain something to me, and they say, for example, that their fender is damaged. I would then ask, for example, if their headlamps were damaged also. They then say.. no the rear fender. Ugg. Theres two fenders on a car, and two quarter panals. This seems to be the biggest toss-about out there. :vent:

Some of the panals have more than one name too.

so Trev, my friend said his right fender is damaged and wonder how much would it cost him to fix, just to clarify, the rear fender, not the front, lol!
