Put a washer behind the circlip on Saturday. Did not make much difference. And, yes I did replace the pedal. Would a clutch stop help?

replaced mine today

took me under 3 hours....now my back, knees hurt and my elbows are rub burned


this is one pesky job but no more squeaks......

3) the word is rug burned (not rub burned) unless u actually do have a rub burn which in that case u may want to see a std specialist.

This is on my list to do. Mine is getting loud. Did anyone replace the spring that is pictured too (#6)? I am thinking about it.

You don't need to, a spring does not loose it's properties unless it's stretched beyond it's limits. Re use the old one and call it a day.
