Default 04 M3 Track Car > pop > fire > fix

Ok, creating a new thread for the future help of others.

Car: 04 M3 SMG
MODS: H&R coil overs, f&r bars, camber plates, 6 piston Rotors up front, 4 piston rotors in rear, Dinan Intake, Dinan MAF, Dinan TB's, B&B header, B&B exhaust, rasp elim, catless, 18X10 Enkies, 275 Falkens, CF hood, CF trunk, Sparco seats, belts, 6 point cage, aftermarket dogbox (still SMG config.), alum flywheel, delrin bushings on all suspension, billet subframe, motor, and trans mounts, CF driveshaft, Cams, gutted, 10 qt oil capacity, FM oil cooler, Tranny cooler, AC removed, airbags removed, seam welded unibody, 2918lbs, unknown HP. There is a bunch more stuff done, but I cant remember it all off the top of my head.

Fresh motor with under 2K (IIRC) grenades at Tally during an open track day. As a result, oil caught fire as it left the motor. Lost brakes, got out safely. It appears that the last 2 cyliners have gone through the block. Fire travelled back into the motor, so it will have to be pulled to know 100% (pics will follow as this happens). FOund parts of internals on drivers side of engine bay tonight whil cleaning it up for the autopsy. Hole is on passenger side behind headers.

I like the way the ///M badge still shines through, like it won't be beaten.
Good luck with the repair.
