Talking In need of YOUR opinion on my position

Story goes like this, i just turn 14 and started noticing cars, I see this FUGLY car which I had NO clue to what it was, anywho my budy tells us to go in i sit in the back seat, took two seconds and he pulls out of the parking lot and suddenly im upside down in the back seat, that was the day i fell in love with the e30 bmw m3.
anywho ive always joked id buy an m3 and my dad at times always made fun of the idea of me buying a "BMW" and my friends and brother always thought an M3 was out of my range and just an unrealistic dream.
So throughout the years i looked at cars casually but now its time to buy a car, i looked at VW and looked at other ones but i just cant get M3s out of my mind, i just cant, i dream of them at night. So after many years of just being teased and i mean made fun off for no reason i said to myself ima stick it to my dad and everyone else and show them that
1. I can buy an m3
2. it wont break down and cost me 4000 to change a single light bulb

Anywho sorry to bore you but the situation is this now there is a 1997 bmw e36 m3 coupe gray with black leatehr , has 97000 miles on it and is in GREAT condition, the dealer is asking $9,500 for it
here are my questions to YOU, this is a serious SERIOUS question

SHOULD i buy and m3 with my very limited college going budget
What is the yearly cost to maintain the car
am i making a mistake here should i wait and buy an m3 later on when i have more money or should i just prove everyone wrong and buy an m3, i mean its going to be my first car, and the thing is i dont wanna drive anything else but an m3, i really think EVERY OTHER CAR IS not worth getting into...

so just give me ur opinion on how bad it can get to own one

thanks for actually reading this..

1. made all my friends promise me they would buy me the newest m3 if they became millionares.
2. i tell everyone ive signed away my first born for an m3
3. i once stood in front of my x fiance and said .... wow that right there is the love of my life, and i pointed at an m3
4. i can notice an m3 from a mile a way on a sunny day

i REALLY want one im just scared it will make me look like a total fool, i wont be able to fix anything broken cause it will cost too much.

You will probably do a fine job of that without the car.

Spend your college money on useful things like booze and broads. The car will be there when you are old and feeble, the memories of booze and broads are worth more than the memories of a broken car on a broken budget.

And save the fiance part until you are mature enough to know that no car can match a great broad.

as much as i may have tried to joke a bit on this im actually quite serious about how much i want this car but at the same time how intimidated i am about the costs, but what is up with you last two replys, i got mr too serious with everything up there wanting to delete a serious question, and Aristotle over here is giving me life lessons, please stick to ..

1. these cars cost XXXX amount of money per year to maintain
2. buy this car because ppl over dramatize the maintenance costs of m3s or dont buy it cause you dont know what you are getting into

other opinions about life simply just dont matter... grazie

why would you want to buy a car when your friends make fun of you for it? obviously m3's are a joke.

go check out hondas. youll be doing cartwheels in the back seat when vtec kicks in.

If you're 14, keep your college fund for college because an education will be worth more in the end. Get a job and save the money for a car. You still have a year or 2 to make up your mind on what you want and to do more research on M3s and their cost of ownership. autos.msn.com is really good research tool as well.
