Turner is no longer in their old building I drove by yesterday and the building is currently up for sale. Not sure where they are operating out of these days.

They were purchased by ECS. Maybe contact them?

For the amount you are going to pay, couldn't you almost buy a GT3rs? lol I mean, unless it's just going to sit and be admired, you really aren't going to drive it are you?

Hard to believe that my local dealer had a ltw sitting around for almost 2 years before it sold. I think it went for $33K otd brand new.... (Oh what a fool am I...)

When I was shopping for my first m3 in late '96 and early '97 one of the dealers had a new LTW and had just taken a minty e30m on trade. Sales guy was pushing me hard to buy either before a "regular m3". He was super geeked on the e30. The LTW was low 30's and the e30 just over 20k. I bought the regular m3.... Realistically, as a DD and only vehicle, probably the right choice....damn.

Of course! The beauty of auto collecting is that you can drive art! Would we drive it everyday? Most likely not. However, myself and my groups members are also not your typical car collectors.

Porsches do nothing for me, personally, GT3/rs or not.

Bothered? The facepalm was for the Porsche comment.

To each their own and I wish you luck on your search for the LTW.

All I’m saying is the car you are looking for is a museum piece, an investment. Driving it will just make it a used car. And there isn’t anything actually special about a ltw. (Other than being rare), my car will run circles around one, and cost about 1/5th as much.
