Glad you had fun at the track. You missed the E36 M3 party at the other track yesterday though

Haha thanks man. I do miss that car sometimes. It made those boners over at Honda Tuning magazine super annoyed that I had the Mugen lip held on with zip ties, which in turn, made me happy. There was a VTEC club event going on yesterday, some very cool cars showed up, giving me the itch... BUT, I like RWD more. And I'm not really a S2000 guy, so alas! My Honda days may in fact be gone.

How was Buttonwillow? Lemme see some pix!

No pics this time, I didn't see any pics I liked but it was an excellent weekend. Rained enough just after lunch time for wet tires on Saturday. That was fun, spent a lot of time working on being super smooth and managing everything at 4/10ths.

Set a new PB and worked on a lot of track fundamentals that I was lacking.

Sunday was perfect BW weather. I think the high was 79*? Traffic wasn't too bad. The third session was nuts though, I think there was a major off every lap.

People were really sending it lol

I'll post up some video here soon.

BW was great, temps were kinda mild probably mid 70's. My power steering went out at the end of the day so had to drive home without it. Needless to say, I'm not happy with that "aftermarket kit" I got and will return back to the OEM setup.

Sorry Nate, no pictures from me. Pretty much was talking to other track folks in between sessions and was lazy too lol

Nice, glad you guys had a good time! I have a lot on my plate the next couple weeks so I'm not sure when the next track day will be for me. But I'm thinking about Buttonwillow May 25-26 with Speed District, if the wife and I are back from Germany by then. The price is a bit higher but you get more time, less cars, photos and transponder included etc...

I'm trying to set-up for that Saturday.

If we're in the same run group we can do the ketchup and mustard thing

Nice!

May 25-26 Buttonwillow - Speed District $285 - I'm in for this already
June 17 Laguna Seca - SpeedSF $299 - I've got this on the calendar as an option
July 28-29 Buttonwillow - Speed Ventures $180 - I'm hoping to do this

Nothing else planned out that far yet, but I've got stuff in my calendar as possibilities.

Nice man. Haven't heard of SpeedSF, I was thinking about trying to get up there to Laguna Seca sometime this year though. Honestly I am thinking I will avoid the 105db day because my car is nowhere near that loud and I don't feel the need to be on track with GT3 cars all day lol. June 17th might be perfect.

My boy Luke Munnell wanted to test out my D850 for on track shooting, I gladly obliged because Luke is the man, and as expected Luke got some great stuff of my bucket o' bolts!

The EK civic is an amazingly well engineered vehicle and one of the best FWD cars of all time! BUT it's no match for the sublime handling and driving feel of the almighty E36 ///M3!
