Default Euro Oil Cooler Install?

Planning to install a euro oil oil cooler set up this up coming weekend. Installing the housing and the cooler itself to the radiator (z3M) seems pretty straight forward however, I am unsure how to route the lines. The stock lines are pretty short so I assume that they sit where they sit. I did purchase the oil cooler line securing bracket but am not 100% sure where it attaches. Part I am referring to is item 8 here - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=17_0963

Can anyone provide advice on how to secure the lines and/or if the bracket is needed. Thanks in advance!

You also need #6. That's where 8 fits onto.

Here are a couple of photos. I used #8 but did not use #6. I did not know exactly where it goes to, so I decided not to use it. I seem to remember you need a different style tensioner bracket for it or something... I also had to trim alternator duct on the alternator to clear the oil line. If you decide to keep the stock shroud behind the radiator, you will have to trim it around where oil lines go into the cooler.

^^

You can fit bracket #6. Then you can fit #8. There's only one on top.

#6 fits on the alternator mouting.

Thanks for the pictures, could not find any myself. Shrouds are gone so that shouldn't be an issue, but planning to trim the alternator duct after the install.

I did also purchase #6. So #6 shares the mounting point with the alternator and then you attached 8 to 6?

Yes.

It will all fall into place once you have the parts. It can only fit one way.

Did you get the properly adapted banjo bolt to reconnect your S52 VANOS line to the new housing?
