Default Potenza RE960AS and RE970AS tread patterns

I have a full set of Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires on my e92 and the rear 2 need replaced. The front tires are fine. I want to replace the rears with Potenza RE970AS (these replaced the RE960AS). My question is, do you think the tread patterns are close enough?

RE960AS

RE970AS

I'm running mixed front and rear Bridgestone PP's. Doing fine and I do long trips every month.
