Default how do i take off the steering wheel trim??

im looking to take off the lower steering wheel trim but i dont wanna break anything.. can someone help thanks

you have to take out the airbag to access the screw for the top portion which holds both the top/bot trim in place. then there are two more screws at the bottom of the trim you can access behind the steering wheel.

It will just be easier to remove the whole steering wheel.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery before removing the airbag.

Here's a VERY easy Youtube video on how to do this. My trim is looking like ####, so I'm considering removing it and covering it with the 3M Carbon vinyl wrap, as in the other thread link....
