Donileo, I had a tab break and I am also going all out for my vanos, here is pretty much everything you could need (I think..)

TurboToys exhaust hub, PM him.

Beisan Systems: http://www.beisansystems.com/products.html
S54 Rebuilt Vanos Solenoid Coil Pack
S54 Vanos Sealing Plate Repair Kit
S54 Vanos Seals Repair Kit

Dr. Vanos: http://www.drvanos.com/index.php?opt...&id=5&Itemid=6
Cam Bolt Repair Kit

ECS (or anywhere else you can get it, ECS had best prices IMO)
Vanos Gasket ES#23225
VANOS Filter Change Kit - Level I ES#1892454

I paid a grand total of a little over 1.1k, no calculating in the $150 back from beisan for the solenoid pack and some money back from TT for your old hub.

Good luck!

In theory you could start getting new chain's and spindles etc etc, but I am not so much worried about those parts, check everything while your down there though.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. Now what about labor or can someone inexperienced like me expect to tackle this?

Many others have done it without a lot of prior experience. Look at the DIT and decide for yourself
