Default What about the F13 650i

Always like the look of the 6GC, too bad the M6 never came with Xdrive, that being said anyone have experience with 650 GC.

There are mightly good deals to be had with them right now for 2 year old with sub 10k miles. There quite a few in the mid 50 to 60 range that are basically hardly driven

56 down from 166 with 13k KM

66 down from 171 with 11k KM (anyone ever seen individual frozen bronze metallic in person??)

Agreed UNLESS you happen to buy one with a warranty. My X5 has the N63 and holy hell the carmax warranty has already paid for itself nearly 5-6 times over. Last repair bill at BMW (because Carmax lets you take it to BMW for a $300 deductible on my plan), I sh*t you not was $16,000. Mind you the transmission was replaced, transfer case, rear airbags, but also a handful of issues with the motor like the high pressure fuel pump, tons of sensors and so forth.

Wouldn't recommend the N63 to even my worst enemy, it's horrendous. Buy only with a warranty or just not at all, not worth the headache, nor the depleted wallet it will cause.

Same deal when I bought the F10, I could have got a 550 for the same money as the 535, no issues with my car yet and have put about 11k miles since buying it with 37k. I bought a really long extended warranty anyway, though.

1/3 of it's original price in 8000 miles. Painful!

Painful, but I wonder how much of that is attributed to taxes and fuel economy as opposed to being a model specific depreciation hit.

Yeah these cars are some of the worst I have seen here regarding depreciation.

on the point of the N63. F13 has the N63TU which is the 1st of 3 revision of the 4.4 v8. What I have read is that it is much improved over the 1st gen.

Are the TU engines in the N63 family really that much more reliable? I've always been impressed with the power and delivery of the N63, but I'd be terrified to have one out of warranty.

One of my aunt and uncle had a 2011 550i drive which always seemed to have some sort of engine issues, to the point that they actually went for a 2017 540i drive rather than the M550.
