Cyber, in the jobs list of MSS54DS0.PRG, you need to find 'Status Adaptation Block_06'. It's right at the bottom of the job list. Double click it - on the list of values, towards the bottom you should find;

STAT_EVAN1_ADAP_WERT
STAT_AVAN1_ADAP_WERT

Can you email me your MSS54DS0.PRG cuz I don't think mine has that value

So additional information......since timing my motor again I've thrown the same exact vanos inlet adaptation code once again..... 184 or P0011

I do believe it is due to the cams being slightly misaligned as we discussed earlier. Once I figure out this tool32 thing I'm probably gonna be altering my offsets as well.

So just ran out in the cold to grab this nugget lol

Between the retiming of the engine, finding a old xp laptop to run the software natively and installing all the software I'd say it makes a good hard enthusiast week lol

Hopefully this effort is useful in finding my issue.....and helping confirm everyone else's lol.

Also the instructions were correctly given my job file or ecu file did not have that Instruction set inside of it. So be mindful of that when attempting if yu get as far as I did and can't find the adaption block 6 section in jobs.....it just means your MSS54DS0.PRG file is not one that supports it.

Kris, as discussed, your results appear to be completely different yet again. I'm assuming standard CSL offsets as per your communications with Frank, i.e. 3deg intake, -2deg exhaust.

Your adaptations show; 2.9deg Intake, -4.8deg Exhaust.

This means to reach zero adaptation, offsets would have to be set 6deg intake, -7deg exhaust. That doesn't seem right at all - something strange going on there. Is it a genuine BMW timing bridge?

Either way, i'm not sure how you are throwing the inlet adaptation code, as both cams have adapted fine. Keep an eye on the adaptations and see if they move about.

those numbers are close to what i was having when i fellowed TIS instructions. (Offset Uncorrected)
