Such a great little car, it is like the 911, it has been perfected over the years

My GTI was 2 door and had I had the option with the R I would have taken it. I prefer the look, but I will say I enjoy the added convenience of rear doors.

You know, I am....my wife thinks I am too old for it but I have always had a thing for GTI and never had one. I ended up getting another M3 so this would be a 3rd car and I am not sure I need 3 cars. I may get a manual 2018 SE unless they come up with clubsport.

Last October, needed a winter car

Found a really clean one, this one is loaded with all M performance bits 10K miles and CPO. Cost me a good penny, probably should have got the GTI

Its the way to go in this segment, the extra doors and sunroof are major contributors to squeaks and rattles. Sadly people weren't buying the two door so VW killed it for 2017.

After a year with my 2016 I really think its about as good as a daily driver gets for an urban environment. I'm even coming to the conclusion that at street speeds a good FWD+limited slip is more fun than RWD; I think Europe has known this for years

Thanks man. You know my daughter loved the old M3 and was quite mad when I sold it. She never warmed up to 911 but was not completely satisfied with this one, wants the same old car back.
The rear seats in this are actually very usable. I may have an opening to trade the GTS for .2 GT3 if I can get the allocation
