![]() Thank you ! Don't hesitate to share it on m3cutters. Not sure I have an account there. Also, not sure of how to handle updates to this file. Maybe you could update it on m3cutters when it gets updated here ? No problem ![]() You're welcome ![]() I'll to the ft lbs version very soon. I'll update this thread then. Quote:
You can read a lot of things on the web about this, but no definitive answer. I read somewhere that on small torques, you just make 10% less, and on big torques you can go with factory specs and it should be OK. Anti-seize is not as bad as lubing the thread. Never use any oil if you cannot use a stretch gauge. All the lubed threads are jointing torque + angle. No problem ![]() Quote:
My pleasure ![]() Happy to contribute ![]() You're welcome ![]() |

Nice! Thank you for putting all the torque specs on there! I will have to print this out and put into a three ring binder.
![]() Thread like this is why I'm more tempted to buy a second e46 m even if people are telling me I'm crazy for thinking about owning two of the same car. ![]() Oh and I was thinking this thread was about torque at the wheel when clicking on the thread. ![]()

![]() I went through the whole Bentley and wrote down all the torques from there. Some are wrong though since they made it for the regular E46 that has a different differential and so on... Tried to correct it from the TIS. Tonight I will put the Ft Lbs / In Lbs version here. |

Wow, this is a must have. Thank you!
-James --edit-- As I'm looking over this I'm overly impressed. This is a seriously awesome reference doc.
