Default Manual 2003 BMW E53 X5 (3.0L/5MT) (Oxford/Black) Fully Loaded

M3forum:

I'm listing my unique manual BMW X5 3.0L AWD SUV for sale. I hate to part with it, but I have three cars and need to get down to one. I'll really miss the fit and finish of this BMW.

I've had a series of E36 M3s and bought this E53 X5 because it truly is a winter beast with a similar 5-speed setup to the M3. The 3.0L M52 driving 4.10 gears in the front and the rear makes for a high-torque German tank with continuous traction in all situations. This is the only generation X5 made with a manual, and rowing gears in a full sized SUV is a ton of fun.

This X5 served as a daily driver and winter warrior to compliment my Z4M Coupe in situations that aren't ideal for a RWD sports car. This would be a great addition to any stable, whether a long time BMW enthusiast or a newcomer to the brand. An AWD powertrain, refreshed suspension, and snow-rated tires make the X5 ready to tackle long road trips and serious snow. This BMW has been up to Vermont, Niagara Falls, and Maine in the dead of winter with confidence. Enjoy comforts such as leather heated seats, sunroof, and a huge amount of rear storage.

Here are more details:
- 2003 BMW X5 3.0L/5MT
- Clear Title in Hand (PA)
- Miles: 149K
- 3.0L I6/5MT manual
- Oxford Green/Black
- Asking Price: $6900
- Location: Englewood, NJ (07631) near NYC

Upgrades:
- 265/65/R17 General Grabber AT2 tires, severe snow rated
- 17x9 ET+0 steel alloy wheels
- ZHP shift knob

Recent maintenance:
- FULLY REFRESHED front and rear bushings, ball joints, control arms, and axles. $2000 in parts from ECS Tuning and 40 hours of labor.
- Powdercoated rear subframe and control arms
- Primary O2 sensors and spark plugs
- DISA valve (common issue)
- Regular Mobil1 5W-30 oil changes at 5K intervals
- New front and rear driveshaft bushings (guibos)

Needs addressed:
- Key battery is dead, needs to be sent out for replacement. Only affects remote entry.
- Steering wheel adjustment inoperable. I'm 6'4 and never had an issue with this.

Please PM me for details. I also have my truck (2000 F250 diesel) for sale that is perfect as a budget track car hauler or for making Home Depot runs.

Shots are below (little dated from early fall, but nothing has changed).
