Default So I decided to do a little project today... (56k failboat)

After seeing a stripeless red GT500 vert on friday, (this being my first stripeless GT500 I've seen) I decided to change up mine. I thought the car looked infinitely more aggressive this way, also the silver stripes on such a dark car seemed to be too much I thought. I kept the side stripes and I will leave them on.

I don't see the removal of the stripes helping you in your quest to sell the car, Mustang people love that ish.

There was a day lapper with a GT500 with stripes on his during my first track day.. they looked pretty good from behind - and after I passed him, they looked good in my rearview mirror too

The existance of the stripes on the car won't change the selling or non selling of the car. I've had it for sale for months now so I probably wont ever end up being able to get rid of it unless I trade it in to a dealer who wont rape me. (which is impossible) I gotta admit I love how it looks without the stripes now. I think the stripes only look awesome if it is a lighter colored car (white/silver/yellow) with darker stripes.

Yep, a hair dryer and peeled right off. Took about an hour or so to do it all.

I thought about it, problem is I've posted on Autotrader before and for the price they charge it's way too high imo, considering my last car didn't sell, I doubt this one will either.

I'm surprised they came off that easy. Guess it doesn't bode well for those cars over the long term in hot environments.

I think it looks better tho -

Good luck with the sale
