Default Color Matched Vinyl?

Has anyone come across a decent off the shelf option for a good vinyl that matches (or might be close to) our factory paint codes? I've found a couple places that will do it custom but its usually bulk order only and/or cost prohibitive. Don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone's already found the magic search term in teh googlz

Looking to do some misc shit and some interior trim but don't want to paint and want to avoid carbon fiber vinyl.

Looking for CB but I imagine a IB might go well. Figures I wouldn't have something easy to fudge like IR/AW/JB lol

that's gonna be a tough one, I doubt anyone has premade bmw-coded colors like carbon black or IB. Piano black is probably available off the shelf

The answer is no. Ive asked several guys who are in the business about it (looking to wrap a clear coat peeling e36 roof) and everyone ive talked too said they can only match it. Basically if they have 20 shades of blue vinyl , they can pick the closest one to your oem color.

That's what I figured but my last ditch effort after searching high and low/before I bought 30 samples was to make sure lol. Or maybe someones already done the sample dance and knows 3M xxxx is close enough

I think piano black looks good with the colored interiors. I think carbon or interlagos on black is that nice mix of not too flashy but doesn't get lost.

I'll give another couple days just in case but I'm 99% I'ma just buy a shit load of samples then maybe finally show pics of my car

I think you'll be a bit hard pressed to find something that will perfectly match your existing paint. You could also just try doing one of the "metal" finishes that mimic aluminum or steel.

I'd love to find a LSB wrap.

Bought a load of samples to go through. Some were just for grins (toying with the idea of an exterior wrap), some were just to be a light knod to the carbon black, some looked way diff online than in person lmao. There were a couple from this same site that looked close but they were out of stock for the samples and/or they didn't do samples so, maybe there's better. Some of them might be close to IB but my bud moved so I don't have anything to compare.

Bottom line though - looks like I might have a winner - Hexis Gloss Midnight Blue

Don't know if it's close enough to wrap exterior stuff in hopes of matching perfect but it should serve my purpose for "color matching" some interior trim pieces if I don't wrap the whole car

Awesome! Writing this down. I always wanted that for my Carbon Black M.
I have Carbon fiber Fenders and Trunk that I have not painted, so I just wrapped my whole car for a color change, but have missed the carbon black dearly.
