Default HVAC Relocation Bracket Door/Cover

Does anyone know if the door/cover (opens when you push on it) on the HVAC relocation bracket is removable? Part number 51167001408 found here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/51167001408/
Looking into a project and wanted to see if anyone else has tried to remove the door before I tear my dash apart.

Thanks,
Mike

No screws, you wedge a small flat head between the hinge and the side. It’s cliped on.
FYI if u r planning on putting it back together it’s not easy at all.

I took one apart to replace one of the gears. It wasn't too difficult, but I had it out of the car.
