That is just INSANE! Anyone have a full list of what trim pieces are replaced or part numbers? I'd like to find a set for my car...but not at the price of $2k lol. PM me if you have a set laying around, please! I guess the easiest and cheapest option would be wrapping the trim in high-gloss vinyl, but that doesn't sound nearly as appealing.

Surprised the high-gloss trim is rarely mentioned or talked about.

Any Canadians have an extra set that you would be willing to part with, without asking for my kidney!?

Love that Color!! Reminds me of my 2002 R1 I had back in the day.

Trevor how many sets of rims do you have? Those are Hyper Black ARC-8's correct?

I thought all 01's came with high gloss shadowline and piano black interior trim? Issa '01 thing. My LSB has it.

High gloss all day, the regular matte black shadow trim that comes standard on M3's looks cheap. If you want to find a set without spending a fortune just look for any M-Package or ZHP 330ci part-out. They have them standard.

This girl likes to share shoes with her other friends and they love to let her try their goodness.

And yes they're hyper black. A little too dark and mean looking for Estoril. I'd rather just have hyper silver to keep the brightness while still providing contrast. I'm sure a wheel design that can have some gloss black sections could match the Shadowline really well.

Standard part on ZHP's, not worth the buy in IMO. The black is just a coating and with enough time will accumulate chips.

Just wrap with gloss vinyl if you want that look.

Default High-Gloss Shadowline (exterior) Trim - Pictures

I believe the trim is anodized aluminum which will not chip, crack, fade, or flake.

My ZHP was parked outside for the 8 years of my ownership and it stayed the same finish throughout its 180k mile life.

It’s also on the CSLs. It’s what I plan on coverting over to. Though it costs an arm and a leg it does look much better IMO.

It is not anodized which is why they do not turn purple or brown like Mercedes do. Anodizing is not durable to heat or UV at all. They are painted, which also explains why people can polish them. They should also be steel.

Lots of videos on YouTube showing how to vinyl wrap these. Now someone with silver gray go test the look for me...
