Yeah, sort out the pre vs post (make sure pre are enabled) and then you should be able to take on that LT again .

I don't think I have anything with my pre-cats disabled. I might have installed them wrong at the end of last summer. All I have checked is as follows:

155mph limiter removal
Burble / Pop on lift off
Disable SAP / Cat heating sequence
Disable Cat Protection (disables enrichment)
Disable Cat Efficiency DTCs
Disable Rear O2 DTCs (hardware removed)

The program is MSS5X by ECUWerks

Sounds like you messed up the pre-cat O2's, or swapped them for the rears?

If you don't have an EGT plugged in, you should disable that as well

Gotcha! I remember I had like 0 room to work with in there when I was swapping them. Could have messed up the wiring. Would that cause a loss in power?

It usually throws an SES light and the car really runs poorly.

So, YES.

Easy to mess them up, especially because bank1 post sensor is exactly the same as bank2 pre sensor.

So today I did 2 things.

1. Deleted my SAP with a block off plate
2. in MS5X Hex editor also ticked the disable SAP and disable EGT monitoring boxes

Car runs alot better. I don't know/think it's all fully there but I drove home from my buddies shop and hooked it up to BMWLogger and this is what I got

You disabled things, but did you disable the assoc dtcs? Second one is a dying precat cly 4-6 O2 sensor.

What he said + clear adaptations and codes. If you are sure all pre/post o2 sensors between banks are in proper locations and coded properly, if you get that code 38 again, replace the sensor.

here's everything I have in hex editor

155mph limiter removal
Burble / Pop on lift off
Disable SAP / Cat heating sequence
Disable Cat Protection (disables enrichment)
Disable Cat Efficiency DTCs
Disable Rear O2 DTCs (hardware removed)
Disable SAP heating sequence
Disable EGT Monoriting

I cleared all the Codes in BMWLogger. SES hasn't came on yet but I only drove it to work which was 5 minutes about 3-4 miles
