What is so hard to understand? You use knock off parts described as Genuine and come ask others to chase your issue for you. Use real parts.

You will learn, as every single other person on this forum has come to realize over the last 10+ years, how to parse the information from the message when it comes to the delivery from certain individuals. The knowledge does not come without the "charm" lol.

That's not only a rule for here either, that's just Internet 101.

If you can't handle the jandal you're not qualified to drive a browser.

I donít think this is true for all aftermarket parts. But it is very often true for HFMs and cam sensors and some other parts. It is probably safest to use only BMW or the OEM supplier to BMW, but if you do some research you can find aftermarket alternatives that work fine. These cars are 20-25 years old so a vast amount of info on what parts work or what parts work best is available.

Whether alternatives are okay or not, what he stated was OE BMW— which it wasn’t.

It was my mistake for putting OEM, it was sold to me as if it was "OEM" . And no one wanted anybody to chase a thing, just was looking for suggestions. Once again thank you for those that actually try to help

Thank you, M3arod! Iím waiting for the injectors to come back from cleaning/ refurb and need to get it all back together for a test drive. I have some negative trims so the jnjectors could be sticking/ leaking. Iíll report back when Iím done.

Got the injectors back, but havenít had time to install- will be a week or so...

But.... flow results were not what I hoped for. Hoped to see sticking or poor flow. They were not in that bad of shape. Not bad enough to cause my codes, I think. Wonít know until back on the car.

Though PO had fuel pressure tested, I ordered a gauge and will test FP/ FPR...
I also soaked the MAF connector in vinegar - it had some corrosion, which could be doing something... will report back once itís back together

One more... I’m not convinced there is not a fuel pressure regulator issue....

If I apply vacuum to the FPR via the hose the connects to manifold, Shoults it hold vacuum or will it bleed off? I am thinking if the FPR or hard plastic line to FPR is bad, I may be getting an air leak there...

Thanks!

It should hold vacuum.

What is your fuel pressure at idle?
