Default What's a better OEM clutch kit Sachs or Excedy?

Hello everyone,
What's the better oem clutch kit to run on a stock motor Sachs or Exedy? I heard that Excedy has the stronger dampening system and a stronger spring rating but they're also made in Japan garbage. I really prefer German Parts on my car that are OEM only but it sounds like Sachs doesn't have as much of a strong dampening system and spring rating on there Pressure plate forks.

I don't think Japan is the country you think it is.
Some of the best car parts in the world are made there.

I just pulled a Sachs clutch at 162k, and it still has another 50k of life in it. It worked flawlessly. You hear about OEM clutches going 200k all the time. You will never hear that about Exedy. In my experience, they have lasted me 80k or less.

I put another Sachs clutch in my car and didn't think twice about it.

Thanks Sa racing I appreciate it yeah I have heard the same thing that the OEM Sachs clutch has a good reputation for their longevity in lasting very long of going close to 200,000 that's if you really baby it LOL I've already purchased the Sachs clutch kit for my car so thanks for the heads up.

I'm sure Japan makes some great parts the Japanese Parts don't mix on a German car I go with OEM German Parts Only they last longer and Excedy doesn't fall into that picture but thanks anyway.

Have you used a LUK before in an M3? I was thinking of getting one myself. They are OE in Europe and I'm not making any additional power.
