Psh, debatable! Haha. I prefer estoril, however love all the colors the e36 M came in.

Thanks man! She was a real beaut! I have plans to build another very different styled one after I graduate.

You do! I wasnít really truly happy with how the car looked before installing it.

Last night I borrowed my friendís fender roller and went to town on the rear fenders!

First, I made this little contraption to pry back the U shape of the original fender lips just enough toto gain access to the sealer thatís used to fill the area.

Next, I spent a good 4 hours cleaning out all the goop... thereís no easy way to do it, but I eventually found that a combination of a chisel and wire wheel seem to do the trick quite well.

Next, since there is now exposed metal, I used the same tool to clean up the inner lip line and followed by doing three coats of undercoating to prevent corrosion. (Forgot take photos, I was excited to get to the rolling!)

Afterwards, I allowed the undercoating about 30 minutes to semi-cure, but not harden. That way it would stick to the exposed metal when stretching the inner lip.
Whipped out the heat gun and fender roller and started at a very low angle. As low as I could get it actually. I thoroughly heated up the inside and outside of the fender lip to prevent chipping and cracking and very slowly increased pressure on the roller. In between each tension change, I followed with more heat to keep the paint nice and warm. I then readjusted the roller to lay as vertical as possible to the fender to tuck the lip almost entirely to the inside of the fender.

Here are my results! (First time ever rolling fenders by the way) lip rolled flat, with an ever so slight amount of pull/flare! I definitely donít think Iíll have clearance issues now. I think I stopped at just the right point as well. If I went any further; I likely would have flared it too much for my taste. About to throw the wheels on and take it for a spin!
