What about these? Factory bmw cinnamon seat covers. I want to buy them but not sure if it’ll work for recaros since they’re not one big piece.

That appears to be only the back/upper section of the seat. Cheaper here https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...41-52107901221

There are limited colors and availability here: https://www.getbmwparts.com/v-2003-b...eat-components

Autoberry "Cinnamon" sample. Compared to a brand new driver's side replacement armrest from ECS and my original door panel and armrest on the passenger's side. My car is a 2003.

Let me know your thoughts. I'd say it's an 80% match. I have an LSeat sample around here somewhere but of course I can't find it. I think it's in the car which is at the mechanic right now. Will update if I find it.

I dont think that’s a good match. That looks like straight brown with no hint of orange. Texture is even worse as it’s not as smooth...Sigh, the search continues

I had the Lseat covers and two different samples from Autoberry compared. The Autoberry ones were pretty close, one had a better texture than the other. Keep in mind that vert leather will age and change color in the sun. Almost impossible to match once it's old. See pics in this thread.

Texture is odd. My sample is much smoother and as I mentioned, the color looked good but I did not have a fresh imola to compare too. My sample is quite dajtk, not sure what fresh imola looks like. I think only a good upholsterer will get it right unfortunately.

I took the plunge and just ordered replacement front seat covers from autoberry. I'm in the middle of a conversion from dove grey to black so see how it goes. Doesn't help the guys looking for different colors but I will report back on overall quality and fit/finish. Fortunately I have a great upholstery (3rd gen) shop less than a mile from my house.

Turns out lseat has a "top grain" option for 150 more so 450 total. I asked for a sample. Will post impressions.
