Default DSS axle instal

Whatís up everyone
I got some built axles from DSS to mate to my custom Turner Motorsports Differential.

But I am having a hard time removing the old axles
Does any one have any tips or tricks
I am using a hub extractor from autozone
Even the threads on that gave up

Here are the new bad boys

Any help would be great
I donít have a air compressor or else I would be air hammering the crap out of it.

Has it moved at all? You could drop the arm and move to a press

Bigger hammer. Use the old nut to keep it from deforming if you need to

I got ya, I have a solid steel rod the exact diameter of the splines I used as a buffer so I didn’t mushroom the end when I did mine. BFH and that worked...if you can get acetone and ATF in there mixed, that should help

I might be confused but Can you put a 3 jaw puller on it and press it out since it is detached from the diff?

When I did my wheel bearings, I couldn't get my axles out with an air hammer even. I had to use a special press that bolts onto the hub.

From the picture it looks like you have the axle pushed back so the end is flush to the hub. It should be very loose at this point. Just getting it to break free is the difficult part. If it is still not moving freely, check that it isn't hitting something on the back side. As someone suggested get a big 3 jaw puller and it will push it out. Hammering will just get you all sweaty and do damage.
