I've never seen confirmation and always have turned them to full soft and go from there an every set I've ever had. I doubt it's pre-set unless it's already on full soft and that's what you'd run anyway. In my experience, they've been at full soft more than not.

With the Eibach and Koni setup installed, I'm rubbing in the rear with 15mm spacers and 265 tires on 19" OEM wheels.
Anyone know if going to 12mm solves my problem or 10mm is best? Or do I try and add some camber back there? |

A 15mm spacer is good for stock 255 tire, but I guess your 265 is just a little too much? 12 or 12.5mm should do the trick.

Wrong info is below this: I'm running 265/35/19 in the rear and have 12.5mm spacers but with KW v2. 13 inch ride height front and rear. I don't rub but I'm very, very, very close. Where exactly are you rubbing at? I'm assuming your rubbing on the top inner quarter panel lip, that is where I'm so close. A 12.5 "should" be ok but it is tight, very tight.

I was mixing up cars. M3 has 255 rears and a 15mm spacer and rubs.
I will hunt down or trade for some 12mm. |

I am running oem 18” square on brand new oem spec bilstien b4 with stock springs. 255/35/18 all around with a 20mm spacer out back and i experience no rubbing whatsoever.
I’d imagine that if my car was on a set of conservative lowerig springs like eibach it wouldnt rub and if it did it wouldnt be bad at all. |

Quick update on the B4 setup. I have always been under the impression that ot was slightly under damped with the eibachs. Had a buddy that runs konis on his M3 ride with me and he immediatly mentioned it felt quite underdamped. I only jad my work out suspension to compare to so it felt better to me. Either way, not bad but after dricing for over a year and a half on them and the eibachs, I would definitly go woth konis or the hd shocks. I suspect o stick springs they woyld work quite a bit better.

OEM ZCPs with OEM sizes, though. And no spacers.

Ride height should never be considered a factor in rubbing.
