I went through stalling for over a year - no codes. Adaptions fixed it temporarily, until the car adapted back to 14.7:1.

ICV/O2 sensors/plugs/coils/vacuum tested/fuel pump/filter/injectors etc.

Turned out to be the crank position sensor.

I had this problem when I had a KN intake. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter at the same time I got a tune from TTFS and it went away, so the answer for me lies somewhere in there.

But if it turns out to be your crank position sensor, I have a brand new one for ya that I got when I was having these problems, just never got around to installing it. Didn't even open the thing.

Here's another long shot possibility, but easy to check. I was having same symptoms and we found the previous owner had put in an aftermarket clutch pedal stop and taped away the pedal position sensor as he couldn't figure out how to properly shim it. With it back in place and correctly adjusted its driving great again.

My car was converted from smg to manual. So this may have something to do with it. I will check it out.

I may hit you up for this, but it looks like most people are throwing codes when this sensor becomes faulty. As of now, I have zero codes. I just put in a new alternator as well. Add that to the list of new items.

I'm having a bit the same issue, and have been thinking about just turning up the idle a little bit... Did that when I had the 325 in the car and it solved a lot of little issues...

I want to find the source of the problem rather than band aid it.

Check out my post. I had zero codes for over a year when my crank sensor went. Random stalling that got worse every day. I only replaced the sensor after running out of things to try.

Frustrating, I wasted a bit of cash and time because no codes and bad advice. The only things left to replace are ping and intake cam sensors.

Cant complain too much, I've got 215k on the original motor and clutch.

Oil separator is a major suspect; was the case for my engine.

It could also stall due to a bad fuel pump relay (mine was burnt out)
